Perilous times are flourishing times for the saints – Part 2
Talking about the times we are in, as we have it in prophecy, it’s becoming clear gradually for everyone who cares to know that it will take a supernatural being to help humanity out of the looming abyss.
Presidents of nations and corporations globally are gradually coming to the realities of these precarious and perilous times spoken about thousands of years ago in the Bible.
From global warming to the amassment of high-tech weapons of mass destruction, AI phenomenon, significant moves and an attempt by men to domicile in space, it has become very real that the landscape of the planet Earth has changed in recent times and will continue to change for the inevitable.
It’s the time of apostasy, it’s the time of high-level criminality and wickedness, it’s a time of woes and calamities. At the same time because of the pressure and anxieties of the day, a lot of believers will surely drawback with the wicked sinking in sin and the rat race of survival by all means. No wonder Jesus asked a question in Luke 18:8b (Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?)
The good news is this, for the saints who chose to remain steadfast and faithful in serving God, the terrible storms of this season will not and cannot carry them away. We shall ever remain strong and forthright in our commitment unto our God and as a result, we shall remain a beacon of light in this era of gloomy darkness that is coming upon the earth.
Joel 2:1-2 – Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
Yes, we shall remain that shining, burning and bright light all out to make a difference for others to follow in the name of Jesus. John 5:35 – He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
Amid the chaos and the coming pandemonium, there shall be calmness and quietness in our camp with our garments unspotted with sin and white as snow enjoying supernatural abundance while people on the other side shall be at the mercy of famine, calamities and misfortune.
Isaiah 30:15 – For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
Psalm 37:18-19 – The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever. [19] They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine, they shall be satisfied.
That is what we expect and that is what will be our experience because the Word of the Lord has said so. To God be all the glory. Amen
