Strong families make strong societies.
The family remains the minutest integral part of the society whatever happens to each family unit that makes up the society is what we see in the larger societies around us.
The various family units that we have cannot be separated or distinguished from society. For instance, If our family units are made up of lawless and criminally minded folks, then get ready to have cases of murders, kidnapping, violent crimes, drug-related offences and so forth.
This is why we have a lot of work to do in our families today as we need to be sure that whatever we don’t want to see in the larger societies, we don’t allow or practice in our various homes.
This assignment will be accomplished by a collective effort for all families that build an entire society. Everybody must be ready to do something about this to have the desired peaceful atmosphere and conditions which we all desire in our society.
More so, the church is poised by a divine arrangement to spearhead this task to fill in the gap for God as His due representative here on earth and we cannot continue to shy away from this responsibility of ours.

What to do to build strong families?
Build on the foundation of God Almighty Himself and His Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11.
We must build our families on God, what He says, and what He wants – that is, everything about our families must not deviate from any of His principles.
Part 1: Build your families on the Holy Scriptures – the Word of God.
Everything we do, allow or permit to take place in our families must be drawn from the Word of God. Period. If the Bible is against what you are doing, then drop it.
Why building on God’s Word, one may ask. The Word of God among other things is:
– The breath of God
– The plan of God
– The will of God
– The guide of God
– The principles of God
– The purpose and the idea of God – that’s what God wants.
Therefore, when we build on God’s word, what does it have for us in return?
– It makes our family last long and endure and not just fizzle out one day – Isaiah 40:8
Every family that is built on the Word can never remain ever strong, unbroken, vibrant and resilient  – John 10:35
– It helps our families to fulfil all that God intends for it – Isaiah 55:11
– It keeps our families from corruption and defilement of this world –   Ephesians 5:26. This means by the Word, our families remain free from all satanic incursions of sins, and all forms of ungodliness.
– By the Power of the Word, Satan remains defeated and can never succeed in his attacks against our families Luke 4:1-13
– By the power of the Word, our families will always be guided right in of life – Psalms 119:105; 130;133
– The Word is the sword of the spirit which is a tool of attack against all hell militating our families. Ephesians 6:17
