God is Still at Work

Posted In: Meditations

God is still at work.
Texts: Isaiah 43:10-13
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me,and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:3-4:
Sometimes, when you look around and you are confronted with myriads of challenges, situations that are contrary to your well-being, you are tempted to think that GOD perhaps must have forgotten you but the truth remains, God is still very much at work and He cannot just stop working. The day God stops working, that day is the day everything will come to an end.
Interestingly, in the midst of these chaos and challenges, you will be seeing and hearing testimonies of the great things that God is doing in the lives of people around you, this should validate the fact that God is still at work. If He is doing it for others, He will surely do yours. The goodness of the Lord is never ending, the faithfulness of The Lord is never coming to an end.
The Psalmist said in Psalm 136:1-6:
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good for his mercy endureth for ever.
O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
So, I want to encourage you today that, instead of you to be despondent, discouraged and overwhelmed by your needs, cares and challenges, hang on to God and believe Him for your own miracle and surely he will work things out for you. He is still at work.
He never slumbers nor sleeps. He is always working out a miracle for you because He makes sure that everything will work together for you at all times. Rom 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Why will God continue to work
– If he stops working, every good thing will be at a standstill, nothing works again.
– Because of the love He has for us. 1John 3:1
– Be cause He wants us blessed – John 10:10
– Because He is always eager to help us. Isaiah 41:10, 13
– If God should stop working, a lot of destruction that has been earmarked will come to pass but eventually God’s good work will not allow because He is still working.
I want you to therefore begin to look up unto God to work things out for you. Be of great expectations because whatever He has done for one person He will do the same for as many that believe and look up to Him.
God is still at work, blessing people with miracle marriages, miracle babies, miracle jobs, promotions, healing incurable diseases and setting the captives free. Just name it, anything, Yes, He is still at work today. What are you waiting for, it’s time to go to Him with the full assurance of faith and make our demands known to him. Hebrews 10:22, Philippians 4:6
