NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH

The world today is in dire need of THE TRUTH. Lies like arrows are flying around, like bullets at the war front which many people have become victims because, in one way or another, they were not careful to fight or defend themselves from the bullets released by satan which are lying bullets.

The opposite of truth is a lie and the bible says satan is the father of lies because he is the originator of lies John 8:44 …He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it. He came to the Garden of Eden with lies that swept Adam and Eve off their feet and a golden inheritance was lost. Humanity lost it in Adam on the platform of lies but we regained it back when THE TRUTH came to dwell with us, He liberated us from the shackles of lies of satan.

Lies are like darkness but the truth is the light that can disperse darkness anytime. Jesus is the Light and He is constant. Jesus is the truth which nothing can stand against 2 Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. The truth is constant Why? John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life… Jesus is affirmed as the truth, God in the flesh is the truth that is why nothing can be done against Him.

Jesus is not with us in person again but His Word is here and His Spirit dwells in us. I believe you know that Jesus is also referred to as the Word, John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word created all we can see and the Word is still making things. If Jesus is the truth and he is the word, that means the word also the truth. The truth that can turn any situation around can be located in the word. When the devil whispers into your ears that you cannot make it, do not listen to his lies instead search the scripture and show him the Word of God that tells you how you can make it in life. Maybe the devil is saying that you will lose your child to drugs, tell him that those children are the seeds that the Lord has blessed and no one can curse whom the Lord has blessed.

What we should establish in our hearts is that the Word of God is all that we need as the situation changers, do not be mesmerized again, he may be roaring like a lion but he cannot devour you because the Lion of the tribe of Judah is in you. 1Pet 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1Jn 4:4 …because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

The problem may be magnified by the surrounding facts but establish the truth in your heart, what you can see as the challenge is temporal but the eternal word of god will erase the temporal situations in your life.

Nothing but the TRUTH can save you. Amen
