ENTER INTO 2025 WITHOUT FEARS

Posted In: Meditations

Putting fear and worry behind you as you enter into the year 2025

Fear and worry are two major weapons the devil has used to rob us of the blessings of God every time we are faced with new opportunities as it is as we will soon be entering another new year some hours from now.

How many of you can really see that fears and worries are nothing but the thief of time? It has nothing to offer you but losses and emptiness. How many of those things you feared or worried about in the year 2024 really came to pass? Perhaps none! You are worried about sickness, cancer, kidney failure, and heart problems. Some might have even feared that they would die in 2024. How many of these worries and fears came to pass? The scriptures tell us in several places that we should fear not.

  • Joshua 8:1, 10:25 – fear not
  • Philippians 4:6 – be careful for nothing.
  • Matthew 6:31, 34 – Take no thought of your life.

What will fear and worry do to you?

  1. It will discourage you and bring Weariness to your soul. Numbers 13:31-33
  2. It will bring you sorrow and sadness – Numbers 14:1
  3. It will make you lose focus – Numbers 14:4
  4. It may lead to destruction from God Himself – Numbers 14:10-12
  5. It will render you incapacitated – 1 Samuel 17:24
  6. With fear and you can’t reach your potential in God – Numbers 14:22-23, 28
  7. Fear and worries will ultimately lead to failure in life.

Therefore, as we go into the new year, let us put behind us fear and worries, they are the excess luggage that we don’t need in the new year. It will lead us to nowhere. But instead, let’s look forward to the year 2025 with boldness, faith, unusual courage, and a positive mindset. The year shall indeed be a great one.

Meanwhile, we should also maintain a heart of gratitude to God for preserving our lives in  2024 and for all of the blessings He has given us. We should remain grateful for all the victories in the year. Even when it seems that we lost some battles, we didn’t lose our lives. We are still intact and strong in the Lord, with a great hope for a better tomorrow. Hallelujah, and praise the Lord. Amen.

To overcome fear and worries in the new year, what must I do?

  1. Believe in and covet the presence of God that brings peace  – Psalm 46:1-2
  2. Have absolute trust in God – Psalm 125:1-3
  3. Never rely on your own strength. Isaiah 26:4
  4. Continue to pursue righteousness and righteous living – Proverbs 28:1
  5. Be filled with the word of God to stabilize your mind – Colossians 3:16
  6. Have faith in God that all will be well – Acts 27:23-25
  7. Resist the Spirit of fear – James 4:7
