THE LIFE OF A TOTAL VICTORY
Living a life of total victory by The Word
You are welcome to this new episode of the Overcomer’s world, where I will be teaching on the necessity of living by the Word of God for our total victory and triumphant life. This means we must be ready and committed to living by the instructions, warnings, counsel, and admonitions of the scriptures, as this will help us overcome all life’s challenges.
We have no alternative but to keep walking and abiding by the Word of God if we want to be victorious in all our endeavors in life. There are a couple of scriptures that can help us to better understand the importance of the Word of God as it relates to our victorious life on earth:
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Deuteronomy 6:2, 6 – 9 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
The role the Word is playing in our lives must be well defined, prominent and clear. No aspect of our lives is to be exempted from the supervision and control of the scriptures.
The moment that you begin to ignore the Word of God, you have already given the devil a foothold in your life because you have left God with no choice but to be angry with you and abandon you. 2 Chronicles 36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
From the above scripture, you can see that a man who despises God’s words has crossed over to a place of no remedy, where evil and disaster are imminent.
Ignoring God’s Word is an outright call or invitation to destruction and failure. The way of the Word remains our authentic route to greatness, success, and victory in life. Welcome to a life of total victory as we walk, live and act by God’s Word.
