SOGAKOPE GHANA CHARITY MISSION
World Overcomers Family Pavilion Outreach Center, Accra, Ghana – Our Mission outfit in Ghana recently organized training and skills acquisition for 250 people in Sogakope, a town in the Volta Region of Ghana, a community surrounded by many villages. Most of the people in the area are farmers, while a few of them are engaged in trading that generates very little income.
The list of skills that were taught includes the following:
- Catering and pastries
- Soap making, perfumes, disinfectants, and body cream
- Fascinators and auto gele.
- Hair dressing, makeup art, manicure, and pedicure
- Tailoring and Fashion Designing
- Shoe and bag making
- Kente weaving, tie and dye
- Crop production, poultry, and fish farming
- Graphic designs and many more skills
- GSM repairs.
At the end of the one-week training, there was an exhibition where all the things that they produced were displayed.
